"La fulla de la sort" / "The leaf of the sort"

Aquest treball tracta sobre aconseguir fer una escultura original a partir d'un element natural, en aquest cas vaig escollir una fulla.
Per arribar al resultat final amb fang, primer vaig fer un esbós de la fulla i un de la meva idea i després vaig fer una prova amb plastilina per comprovar que la meva idea és possible.

This work is about creating an original sculpture from a
natural element; in this case, I chose a leaf.
To reach the final result with clay, I first made a sketch of the leaf and one of my idea, and then I made a test with modeling clay to check that my idea was possible.
"Equilibri entre fusta" / "Balance between wood"

Aquest treball tracta sobre basar-se en les tècniques d'uns artistes anomenats: Oteiza, Antoni Abad i Eduardo Chillida. Després havíem d'escollir una de les tres per fer el resultat final. En aquest treball ens basem en la inspiració d'un cub. En la figura final em baso en l'estructura d'u cub i l'espai buit.

This work is about basing ourselves on the techniques of artists called: Oteiza, Antoni Abad and Eduardo Chillida. Then we had to choose one of the three to make the final result. In this work we are based on the inspiration of a cube. In the final figure I base myself on the structure of a cube and the empty space.

Aquest projecte té en compte conceptes com la repetició d'elements. Més específicament, aquest projecte tracte sobre una repetició de plans que es posen junts amb diferents formes per representar una idea o pensament. En aquest cas, he volgut representar amb formes triangulars les fulles d'aquesta planta (és com una planta suculenta) tan bonica.

This project takes into account concepts such as the repetition of elements. More specifically, this project deals with a repetition of planes that are put together with different shapes to represent an idea or thought. In this case, I wanted to represent with triangular shapes the leaves of this plant (it's like a succulent plant) so beautiful.

La història del pessebre

En aquest treball tracta sobre l'acumulació d'elements. En aquest cas he volgut representar la història del pessebre a través d'elements fonamentals com el nen Jesús, la Verge Maria, Sant Josep, el bou, la mula, etc. Fins i tot hi ha 3 regals que representen els 3 regals dels tres Reis Mags d'Orient que li van donar a Jesús. A més hi ha un símbol d'una espelma que representa l'essència de Déu i un símbol d'una casa que representa aquesta història tan acollidora. Tots aquests elements estant col·locats dins d'una estrella que representa l'estrella que va guiar aquests reis al naixement de Jesús.

This work deals with the accumulation of elements. In this case I wanted to represent the story of the nativity scene through fundamental elements such as the baby Jesus, the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, the ox, the mule, etc. There are even 3 gifts that represent the 3 gifts of the three Wise Men of the East that they gave to Jesus. In addition there is a symbol of a candle that represents the essence of God and a symbol of a house that represents this very cozy story. All these elements are placed inside a star that represents the star that guided these kings to the birth of Jesus.
Tors masculí / Male torso

Aquest treball consisteix en replicar un tors masculí amb fang. Com es pot veure el resultat es bastant acurat, però hi ha hagut alguns incovenients durant el procés, com per exemple, el fet que el fang de color marró es va acabar. Per això hi ha hagut barreja entre fangs. El material utilitzat en aquesta escultura és el fang perquè ens permet moldejar de la manera que volguem si està humit. Al secar-se es posa dur, el que ens va perfecte quan creiem que ja hem acabat el treball perquè no es trenqui.

This work consists of replicating a male torso with clay. As you can see the result is quite accurate, but there have been some inconveniences during the process, such as the fact that the brown clay ran out. That is why there has been mixing between clays. The material used in this sculpture is clay because it allows us to mold it in any way we want when it is wet. When it dries it becomes hard, which is perfect for when we think we have finished the work so that it does not break.
Talla escaiola d'un elefant / Plaster carving of an elephant

Aquest treball consisteix en a través d'un material dur com el guix o escaiola quan s'aseca, anar tallant el bloc fins arribar a la forma que volem. En aquest casa vaig voler fer un elefant que després el vaig pintar de color rosa.

This work consists of using a hard material like plaster when it dries, cutting the block until we reach the shape we want. In this case I wanted to make an elephant which I then painted pink.
"L'alta fluidesa" / "High fluidity"

Aquest treball consisteix en crear una escultura per un espai concret per després fer un fotomuntatge perquè sembli que aquesta escultura estigui a la realitat en aquell espai. Específicament he triat una plaça anomenada: "La Ninfa" situada al poble de El Masnou. Concretament la meva escultura representa principalment les onades del mar. Amb la gran altura representa la gran alçada que poden tenir les onades del mar. El propòsit de l'escultura és que la persona es senti més petita comparada amb aquesta. D'aquesta manera he pintat l'escultura de color blau i blanc perquè s'ha sembli als colors del mar. Per poder elaborar tot això, vaig elaborar el disseny amb la web "Tinkercad" per després imprimir-ho amb una impresora 3D. A continuació d'això vaig fer la fotografia de tal manera (que tingui la il·luminació i les ombres de la fotografia de la plaça) per poder fer el fotomuntatge.

This work consists of creating a sculpture for a specific space and then making a photomontage so that it seems that this sculpture is in reality in that space. Specifically, I have chosen a square called: "La Ninfa" located in the town of El Masnou. Specifically, my sculpture mainly represents the waves of the sea. With the great height it represents the great height that the waves of the sea can have. The purpose of the sculpture is for the person to feel smaller compared to it. In this way, I have painted the sculpture in blue and white so that it resembles the colors of the sea. To be able to make all this, I made the design with the website "Tinkercad" and then printed it with a 3D printer. After that I took the photograph in such a way (that it has the lighting and shadows of the photograph of the square) to be able to make the photomontage.
Maqueta casa Bernarda Alba / Bernarda Alba house model

Aquest treball consisteix en crear una maqueta d'una habitació inspirada en la casa de Bernarda Alba. Cadascú dels alumnes havíem de fer una cadira inspirada en l'obra. La meva es aquesta que està inspirada en un butaca. El que vam fer va ser imprimir-la amb una màquina 3D en el tamany adequat a les dimensions de la maqueta per després pintarla de color negra.

This work consists of creating a model of a room inspired by Bernarda Alba's house. Each of the students had to make a chair inspired by the work. Mine is this one that is inspired by an armchair. What we did was print it with a 3D machine in the size appropriate to the dimensions of the model and then paint it black.
